I cant get any sound playback

Hi

I was cleaning out an old comuter of old files, removing and unistalling software, and i think i may have deleted an audio file.

On starting itunes it says the the sound configuration is not correct and there may be problems with playback.

when i get into itunes nothing plays, and no sound.

I checked the sound playback devices and it says modem #0 line playback.

now im assuming i have deleted something i shouldn't have?

could someone please help me to figure out what i need to do to get some sound back?

Thanks

Have you tried to re-install audio drivers?

Post what your system specs are and I can help you with that. Make and model # of your computer.

Re: I cant get any sound playback

Download SystemSpec from my sig and see what it says.

And what OS is on there?

Have you tried a system restore (if enabled)?
