No audio, failed to install driver

Hi all,

Im using an Intel DP35 board, with a build in Sigma Tel High Definition Audio.

Here's the problem, i newly install a fresh window, then i tried to install the driver from the cd, but it failed, then i goes online search for the sigma tel driver, i install it, & the sound driver is shown on the device manager there, but with the "!" mark on it, & mentioned something about code :10 error.

I suspected that my pc dunhav the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver which cause the problem, but i been trying to download many different kind of that driver, but still no luck...

any idea/solution ?

Re: No audio, failed to install driver

UAA drivers can be finicky sometimes.

Try this and see what happens (hopefully you haven't already tried it). Download XP SP2 UAA drivers from here just to make sure you have the right ones. Uninstall any and all Sigmatel drivers on your system. Reboot. Install UAA drivers. Reboot. Install newest Sigmatel drivers.

Let us know how it goes.
