No sound
For some reason i dont have sound anymore. When i go to Start/controlpanel/soundsandaudiodevices it says no audio device. Ive tried 3 different sets of ipod headphones and my speakers just wont play. (note my speakers are built in to my monitor). Ive reinstalled the drivers atleast 6 times ive looked for updates ive checked my BIOS and everytime i reinstall the drivers it gives me a code 10 error.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Last edited by Bane2; 02-05-2009 at 03:09 PM. |

Re: No sound
It does sound like your UAA drivers are corrupt but without knowing what audio solution you have I don't know for sure. It would help to know what computer you are running on.
To fix the UAA driver, click on the XP SP2 link for the Q888111 download from this page. Then uninstall any drivers that you have on the computer now. Reboot. Install UAA drivers by clicking on the .exe file you downloaded, then install your audio drivers. Hope that helps. Pauldo |
