My System

Re: no sound from my laptop, presario r4000.

Was that music is playing but you don't hear the music or music is playing and you hear that but not other sounds?

Can you give system specs? Make/model # of your computer.

What does it say in Device Manager (Click Start Menu-->Run and type in devmgmt.msc and hit enter) under Sound, video and game controllers.

Thanks

Did you successfully install the drivers? Get audio driver from link below and install if needed.
