karaoke /sound card error.
hey guys you have helped me in the past im hoping you can help me again.
here is my problem, i have a external USB, 5.1 creative x-fi sound card. with this hardware comes a cd with software including the creative karaoke. it was working fine a while ago but now it will not run. i am running windows XP SP 2 on a laptop. when it boots up i get an error message stating the following. *an exception occurred while trying to run "KSRun.dll", "RunDLLentry"* the KSRun.dll is tied into the karaoke software becuase the name of the karaoke executable is KSRun.exe if anyone knows how i can fix this error it would be much appreciated, if you need me to paste a HJT file let me know. i also have a Creative FATAL1TY USB headset on my laptop as well, the worked fine together before so i dont think that would be a problem. any advice or guidence much appreciated. |

Re: karaoke /sound card error.
Have you tried re-installing the software?
If that doesn't work, try uninstalling, reboot, install. If you have anti-virus software and anti-malware software installed and they are upto date, then you should be fine. If you are concerned that you might be infected, however, go here and follow the instructions to post in the the Security forum. Pauldo |
