Re: headphones and mic
HAH! I fixed it.
First I double clicked my Volume Icon in my bottom tray thing. It opened up my Master Volume. Then I went on the top left and went Options>Properties Then Properties should be up. You will see Mixer Device: and then a drop down menu. Drop down to Line In/Mic In Then under that you will see Recording ticked. ![]() Under that you will see a list of checked things. Check them all. Then Press OK You will have a window with options pop up. Mute Check everything BUT RECORDING AND MICROPHONE |

Re: headphones and mic
What 'sound card' did you try to download? Do you mean drivers? Did you get the driver from here: http://support.thetechguys.com/layout.aspx?ID={e2061d23-6343-4ed8-a9eb-66f341b75ae5}&CatID={a790afca-b65b-4935-bf80-a535887a8c5c}
Have you checked your settings in the Realtek software? You can for sure find it in Control Panel. Switching to Classic View should help. You want to make sure that it is un-muted under recording and the volume is up. Also, are you plugging this in to the front panel? If so try plugging into the back panel to see if it works. Pauldo |
