I'm new! HELP ME! no sound

hey i just got a new hard drive reformated on my hp
and the speakers are located in my monitor and its says everything is working and its not

so what do i do?

Have you loaded the sound card drivers?

While you are there you can download the chipseet and other drivers you may be missing. Look in Device Manager to see what you need.

That was the support for your monitor . . you need to enter the model of the pc. Or let it scan your system
