Help getting sound working and display is off

I recently installed a new ASUS M3N-HD/HDMI motherboard. I also have a Samsung HD television with and HD cable running from the motherboard sound device to the tv. When I first turned on the pc and was in the midst of updating the bios and reconfiguring a few things, the sound worked and the display was just fine. I've done something since then though and now I have no sound and my display is oversized. I've run through all the sound checks in System Device to see if the proper devices are enabled and they are. Bios is enabled for HD sound and TV. I've reinstalled the drivers several times and I'm at the end of what I'm capable of troubleshooting. I have not begun to try to fix my display, but have gone into the Nvidia control panel and I've resized the desktop for HD television several times. That's about all I've tried though. Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe
