ESS Allegro swelling screech
Ok, so I never had this problem before I got my new soundcard.
I got an ess allegro pci wdm... And it seemed to be working fine at first. Then I tried to hook up my mic in counter strike, sound forge and guitar rig 3. It's HORRIBLE! When I start to record or anything it makes the sound of holding a microphone in front of the speaker that's outputting it's sound. You know, the loop screech! I don't understand why though! Help?!
