[SOLVED] No sound - pic inside

So,

I had Win xp installed on my C, but i kept having bluescreens (read error)
So i installed an other win xp version, on my D,

I reinstalled my drivers etc (from the cd), but i keep having this :

(i know it says no drivers installed, but i tried several times, from the cd, downloaded from the inet)

Also i have win xp sp2

Someone told me i need a new soundcard.. BUT i still have sound on the win xp installed on my C, which bluescreens me.

So im pretty much confused.

Re: No sound - pic inside

Probably need UAA drivers installed first before Realtek drivers can be installed/recognized.

Go here and click on XP SP2 to download appropriate UAA drivers and install.

Once installed you can then install your Realtek drivers.

P.S. Thanks to BCCOMP for that link.

I googled for this, and the only thing i could find is

"Disable microsoft UAA bus driver ...
Uninstall UAA bus driver"

But i can't find it, thanks for helping anyway :) !

Hi,
The UAA Driver is under System devices in the Device Manager.
Disable the device and reinstall your driver (Audio).
What is the exact make and model of this PC?
Bill
