Can motherboard Stop me Recording?
Hi,
I want to record some sounds into the mic input to windows sound recorder. But it not working. I have a sound card (creative soundblaster xtremegamer) which I was using to record. The card works for every other sound application e.g. games, dvd, music etc and yes it is full duplex. With recording it will record BUT.. I won't be able to hear what I'm actually putting in until the end, at playback. So I took out the soundcard, all drivers etc and enabled onboard sounds. The onboard sound is Realtek High Definition Audio. With all the correct drivers installed, I tried it and no, nothing, no sound from any source, can't hear anything at all when playing a cd, game, dvd, or even the windows sounds. So Im guessing its broke somehow....? and also affected the recording when I used the soundblaster card. But whats broke the motherboard or just the onboard sound and can i fix it? thanks. |
