Sound, well there isn't any!
I have no sound on my computer what so ever, no mics work and no sound comes out.
I have the latest drivers for the MoBo/BIOS/video/audio, etc But, I did get an error when I installed the sound driver the first time. So I reinstalled the driver, uninstalled then installed. Any suggestions? I'm stumped... Also everytime I start windows it asks me to install a PCI device driver, but everytime I select to install it cant find the driver. I have all up to date drivers for everything, I don't see why its popping up either. If that has anything to do with anything... Yes I have NO sound card, but this seems like the only proper "sound" forum to make this thread in... Move it if needed.... |

Re: Sound, well there isn't any!
try installing the driver for your chipsets. and reinstall the sound driver that is needed. also try to go into the sound options under control panel and see if you can hear the sound from the windows sounds. could be an internal speaker and pci slots are on the mobo so possibility that this could be a problem i itself. make sure your bios is updated, for sometimes an outdated bios can do things to your system you would not think it could. what kind of computer is this? let me know.
