No Audio Out Device is installed
Hi I'm using a dell XPS 630i with a creative soundblaster x-fi extreme gamer card and recently my computer is now saying that there is no sound device installed on the pc. I have since then completely reformatted the pc and restored it to dells factory settings. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers but each time it just states there is no device compatible. Using setup i looked into the BIOS and noticed that the HD audio periphial is disabled so i enabled this but all that done was when the computer loaded up it automatically installed realtek drivers for my soundcard and started recognising a soundcard but just as a HD sound card not my creative one but even with these drivers installed there was still no sound to the PC so im lost as to what to try next.
