Re: I need help to install sound driver

do you have a via chipset
if you do go to the via site for the driver
if not go to the realtek site or the m/b makers download page for your m/board

Re: I need help to install sound driver

check your manual and see if the onboard works in 2 channel
it does not on my asus board only when 5 or 7 are connected
check your plug into the correct hole
scour through all the setting in there

Re: I need help to install sound driver

How many speakers are you trying to connect?
Are the speakers self powered?
Have you tried earphones?
