no sound with recorded files--

Hi, I just downloaded and used Free Sound Recorder which seems to have recorded the file but I can't get sound when I play the file through Windows media player or RealPlayer. My sound card and speakers seem to be working great when I play anything else. Does any one have any suggestions?

hi if I remember correctly, windows media player or real player don't support recording, try useing winamp it has alot of plug ins and is great for recording and its supported by alot of programs good luck also check your windows audio controls both recording and play back you might have something muted plus in your recording controls there should be a check mark, either in ( what you hear ) or (stero mix ) when either of these are checked it allows the in put from the mic and the music
