No sound Card, can I record Audio

Do video capture cards record audio also? Do I need a sound card to capture audio? I will save the files and playback on a pc with sound card.

Check near your 3.5mm audio out socket on the back (or the front in some cases) of your tower. If there are 3 or more sockets there (3.5mm) there is a good chance one of them is a microphone socket. You can plug a mic into this to record audio. Or with a bit of tweaking, you can get it to accept any signal (it takes a fair bit of boosting though, you may lose a bit of audio fidelity)
