Just installed Xtreme Sound 7.1??HELP
I just installed the Diamond Etremem Sound 7.1 soundcard into the tower. I followed the instructions. It says I have to disable any audio that is there. This computer never had sound. But at the bottom of the tower there is a spot for headphones and microphone. So the tech guy from Diamond said I had to go into the BIOS in the periphials? and disable, WHICH ONE IS IT??? It's all foriegn to me. And now everytime I start the pc Windows box comes up with "detected new hardare"?
Has anyone dealt with this software....If I have the disk that came with the sound card, I do get sound out of the speakers. But when I go to something on-line...no sound? PC is an emachines T2825, with windows xp. Sorry so long, don't know what to do. Thanks for any help!! |
