No Record Device Sliders in HD Audio Manager
I have an Abit IP35 Pro with Realtek onboard audio. I have never been able to get the any record device sliders to show up in the Realtek HD Audio Manager. All of the record sliders are missing. Because of this I can not configure my line-in so that I can use my TV tuner. I have tried different drivers including the very latest WDM from Realtek.
Windowes XP32 Pro / SP3

Hey, I got exactly the same problem. Here is the trick which worked for me with the stock realteck drivers :
- Plugged my external sound source in the blue plug (it is a stereo input as opposed to other plugs). - When the dialog pops up, set it as line in. - Open the realtek control panel from the configuration panel. - Select the mixer tab. - In the 'playback' part (upper pane), scroll to right until the 'Rear Blue In' shows up - Enable it (it was disabled) I immediately started to hear my external source. Hope it helps. |
