Only the left channel's volume turns down & no mic
HT Omega Claro Plus
Windows Vista 32-bit Abit IP35 Pro Intel E8400 When I turn the volume down via the main volume controller in the control panel, only the left channel in my headphones changes and the sound is still fully there in the right. This happens when playing any kind of media with sound on any program. I'm sure I'm plugging the headphones into the correct jack. I've tried using different headphones. I've reinstalled the sound card drivers & software. I've checked in the main volume controller in the control panel and the channels are balanced. This problem hasn't always been there, only for the past week or so. I don't remember doing anything right before it began. Is it a problem with the sound card? Also, I've never gotten the mic to work with this card. I've already sent one back and the mic won't work on this one either. I've tried several mics. I got it from Newegg. I'm thinking about replacing this with yet another Claro Plus or getting a Prelude or something. |
