Hey guys. i have Dell Dimension E510 pc running vista SP1 with onboard Sigmatel HD Audio adapter that supports 7.1 surround sound. i also have Logitech X-530 5.1 surround system. so the problem is that the Sigma tel driver is not compatible with Vista, and it only allows me to use Stereo preset(2.0) if i dont install the driver i could select schemes up to 7.1. but with the driver its only 2.0. the main reason i installed the driver is because i need inpput monitor function that allows you to live playback whatever you say in Mic, or line-in. vista's default driver doesnt have that feature. i've been searching for sigma tel updated drivers but it seems like they didnt update the drivers since 2006. are there any custom made drivers i could download? or is there any way to enable input monitor feature? and line-in in vista default driver?
