Reformatted Windows No Sound Drivers all Installed
My BF reformatted windows xp and now there is no sound. Try installing new drivers hasn't worked. Got the no active mixer driver error. Tried almost everything.

if the computer is from a major manufacturer you cn go to their website and download the drivers you need for your specific model.
