Realtek HD audio soundproblem, no surrond.
Hi i have a problem with my onboard soundcard from realtek.
i currently have a gigabyte EP45-DS3P, and along with that realtek HD audio. the problem is eventhough i have configured my pc to surrond 5.1 i still only get stereo sound from the two front speakers, there is no sound in the side/center nor any bass from the subwoofer. when i try using the realtek HD audio manager, and tries a soundcheck it works perfectly, IOW i can hear every individual speaker and the bass. but I only get normal sound from eveery other software. music from winamp, movies from WMP or any games generates normal stereo sound. Does anyone know what may have caused this? |

Hi Finalcookie, I've looked at this but can't work it out either, sorry, I'm wondering if you can help me. Can you get any speech recognition software for the Realtek ALC883?
