Creative Audigy 2ZS platinum pro
Hi,
I Just bought a creative labs audigy 2 zs platinum pro sound card with the external input output box. My question is: Can this sound card output a true dolby sound to my 7.1 dolby surround sound reciver. Im thinking about buying a bluray dvd player for my pc in the near future and want to take advantage of the 7.1 dolby sound track on some bluray movies. But I don't know which output from the sound card or the external box is the one I need to use to output the 7.1 dolby sound to my surround sound receiver. I have optical outs and I believe I also have a coax out from my sound card. I fear that I can only output 5.1 from this sound card. I think my soundcard has 7.1 output but Im not sure if it is a true 7.1 output. If you are familar with this soundblaster sound card can you help me? It would be greatly appreciated. I really need detailed instructions on how I can do this. And exactly which output to use for true dolby 7.1 to my surround sound receiver. Thank you very much |
