program says i need a sound card.... to plug my guitar into????? true? and if so.... what kind shud i get to plug a guitar into...
or shud i get a sound board?

Hiee, yoo nedd a sount cardt but maebee you havve one built-in?

Do you have sound on the computer of which you speak? You can get away with just using a limiter that brings audio from your amp down to line level. You can't blast your sound card with loud signals from an amp without cooking it as far as I know.

Look into the M-audio jamlab. Its cheap and simple but yet decent for the price.
Plugs in via USB and the pre-amp isnt bad

M-Audio is great for home recording, but Creative is okay for just messing around... It depends on how serious you want your recordings to sound.
