no audio device
Hi!
I have an ASUS P5LP-LE motherboard with integrated Realtek ALC882/D/M @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-1] PCI audio.. on win xp. So my problem is when windows loads I can hear start-up sound, then when programs loads on taskbar, volume icon suddenly disappears. I went to control panel/sound and audio devices/ and there is no audio device. I reinstalled sound drivers and still same problem. Please help ? |

Maybe you should buy a replacement sound card. I burned my onboard out on another system by giving it too much power on it's input and experienced similar symptoms. Just disable it and install a new sound card. This would cost as little as $20 if you are lucky.
