Sound distortion

Thanks...this is a Pentium IV - 3.0 - 512 ram - win xp sp2 and board Asrock 775vm800....so when I listen music and need to open any file o diferent carpet the sound distortion or stop temporaly getting slow the pc ....Could you help me ? ....how I repair this problem ?....thanks

Ah the infamous sound problem.

If you are streaming music, you will get this. No way around it. When you stream music, it is being downloaded AND read off your hard drive (temp file) at the same time, so any other hard drive access can interrupt the download and/or reading of the music file.

If you are playing off a mp3, or other music file, saved on your hard drive, you will have less interference.

Tecknomage..thanks , but it happend when I´m listening music normaly from my carpet of music .....any other idea ? ....1000 thanks from Colombia
