Re: problem with creative 5.1 speaker

Is the system is connected via the full 5.1 cable? If so, what audio have you used to test the speakers? Sometimes with audio sources, you only get two channels of sound (left and right), with DVD audio, you mostly get six channels (front left&right, rear left&right, centre speaker and subwoofer). Bear this in mind when you want to test that the surround speakers work with something other than the devices channel tester (creative diagnostic tool you mentioned).
