Help with sound card problem
I have a slight issue.
about 5 months ago i custom built this computer. It works just fine, but when i first put it together my speakers went out, and i wanted music, but my parents were short on cash, and i didn't have any money, so i rigged a speaker to the auido jack. I knew that the speaker might overload the curcut, so i tryed to only have the sound at a low level. but it did. the good thing is the mobo has 7.1 suround sound, so it was as simple as plugging into a different port when i got real speakers. the problem is that, although most programs play sound with no problems, things like flash don't play sound through any other channels. OS: win XP pro(media center) sp2 mobo: MSI K9N4 SLI sound info: Chip integrated by Realtek ALC850 Supports 7.1 channels audio out Compliant with AC97 rev 2.3 spec the problem is that i have no idea how to change the channel outputs. |
