Not really a problem, but noticable.

I was using FRAPS to record some gameplay, when I noticed the file I saved for the gameplay didn't have sound on it. I realized what the problem was, which was conflicting sound cards (I have an integrated sound card <RealTek HD Audio> and a PCI-sound card <Creative Sound Blaster 24-bit>, both connected. Anyway, I was using the RealTek sound card the entire time, and I disabled that and used the Creative sound card to record the sound for my files. It worked, but I noticed that there's a constant "Ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" noise in the background, even when there's no sound playing. My RealTek sound card never made such a noise, and I just compared it now and yes, there is a difference between the two.

I was wondering if there's any way I could get rid of that "Ssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" noise in my Creative sound card. Thanks for your time and I hope someone responds real soon.

Re: Not really a problem, but noticable.

Actually, nevermind. I solved the problem, but now I have a new problem. It's more program related than sound-card related.

Well, I'm now able to use FRAPS and record gameplay & audio using my RealTek sound card. But now when I check the file, it has video and audio, but the audio is of poor quality. It's very noticeable and I'd like to fix that. Anybody know what to do? Thanks again.
