Sound gonneee please help.
Hi
My name is Aron Park my computer is P4S800-MX Windows XP Servce PAck 2, Socket 478 for intel pentium 4 SiS661 FX SiS963L 512 mb RAM 3.01GHz SoundMax digital audio system. Ok this Computer sound doesn't work. Its almost been a year now, i was playing an online game till the sound just disappeared. and after that NO sound. Few days ago I have been looking through forums and found alot of stuff to fix it but all of em didnt work. One of them was Go device manager>sound video and game controllers> and then right click and update driver. I tried that and it said no hardware match. Above Sound, video and game controller, There is this mark next to it is a Yellow question mark with a small explanation mark. under it has Audio controller with the yellow quesntion mark. I updated that and same thing happened as before. I have my own motherboard CD and tried installing sound but it says that it doesnt not seem to work. and just closed. So i was wonder if someone could help me please. I cannot do anything without sound. Oh yeh forgot to say this but when I go control panel>sound speech and audio devices> I click sound and audio devices and say no audio availabe Last edited by aronpark; 04-19-2008 at 08:05 AM. Reason: forgot to say |

Re: Sound gonneee please help.
Here are your drivers. Select your OS and download the CORRECT Drivers. Install the drivers, once again go into device manager, uninstall the sound card and then reboot. Do these steps in order and get back to me witrh the results

Re: Sound gonneee please help.
Thats Fine....go to the Audio tab on the above link and download your Audio Drivers. Install them, then uninstall the Sound Card again.....DO not reinstall it....just reboot.
