No sound at all.
A few moments ago, I was updating iTunes and listening to my playlist. Once I had finished updating, I chose to restart the computer later instead of immediately. After a while, the music I was playing began to distort, and did so with every song I tried. I thought the answer might be to restart the system, which I did, and I now have no sound whatsoever - iTunes, online ads, YouTube, etc.
I went into my sound devices list and found this in my device properties under the hardware tab: Intel(r) 82801CA/CAM AC'97 Audio Controller Device type: Sound, video and game controllers Location: PCI bus 0, device 31, function 5 This device cannot start. (code 10) can anyone help me out here? I'd like to be able to hear something.
