XP not recognizing M Audio 2496-Old install disc
OK, Due to a Malware nightmare, I've had to re-install Windows XP SP 2 on my PC. I've had an M Audio, Audiophile 2496 card for some time but I'm not getting any recognition by XP. The original install disc is old - latest install info is for Win 98 - and I can find not a single file on this thing that shows anything about the 2496~!
Are there conflicts with this card and XP? I've gone to the M-Audio site and downloaded what they say is the updated driver but still nothing... Suggestions??? ![]() Thanks! |
