Hi Wendee24!

Can you try to unplug and replug the sound card once again, it sounded like there might be a loose connection between the sound card and the computer there

And try to run the Everest and post the report here, so that we can find an appropriate driver for you.

Tips: the download link for Everest is under my signature down here

Re: New here need help!!!

You can post the summary of the hardware on your computer. Or, you can run this and post the results here:

Providing Hardware Information:

Download the TSFdemo1 file to your desktop

Unpack and run the the TSFDemo1.hta

Click Copy to Clipboard and paste the information on your next post

Re: New here need help!!!

Try to uninstall the sound driver and restart the computer, see whether it can reinstall the default windows driver for it. Then try to update the driver again if it still don't work and see how it goes

Re: New here need help!!!

Do you have a different slot? Then try to slot the sound card in different port, and see if that work

no luck yet but like i said before when i plug the card now i see it in my device manager in other devices with a yellow mark and this is what i get

The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)

To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver.

i still get the same report from TSFdemo

Re: New here need help!!!

Try to update the driver by right click on the sound device on device manager, and make sure you inserted the driver cd for your sound card first
