[SOLVED] audigy 2zs platinum pro remote battery

Hello,

I have a a Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Pro with remote control. I suspect the remote's battery is either: bad or not the correct kind. The remote-response light on the breakout box flickers a bit, but nothing happens. The one in it is a CR2025. It checked out at 3 volts, but maybe there's more to it.

I would like to confirm the lithium battery model, but it seems to be some kind of secret.

Anyone know this?

you can use duracell pix 3x more life than others :)

I can locate references to "duracell pix", but the "3x" part eluded me. Is this an abbreviation or shortening of the type?

If the receiver flickers the remote must be sending a signal.

I suppose the remote control is enabled in Windows.
