Error Code/ No Sound

I'm having trouble with my sound card. Creative blaster. I

It's a Intel Pentium III 996MHz 40GB Hard Drive 512 Ram According to Crucial.com it's all I can do. Also have an Nvidia GeForce 2 Mx/Mx 400 and Ethernet on pci.

This is the message--I'm getting an error message-This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system.

What should else should I be looking for to disable, Not very computer savvy.

Any help would be appreciated,

Thank's Mike

Re: Error Code/ No Sound

There is an IRQ conflict. Download an IRQ finder. Google it, theres plenty there to download, I cant remember my one off hand. In the program, try to find an availible IRQ setting, and assign the Creative card to it.

Re: Error Code/ No Sound

Look here to see what the card is in conflict with:

Start > programs > accessories > system tools > system information > hardware resources > conflicts/sharing.
