Input Problem
My computer is only recording audio at 1/2 of its original ability. I recently tried to record some music of mine through a PA into the mic jack of my PC. I have no idea what is wrong, if anyone has any idea please tell me it is frustrating me to no end.

Hi, welcome to TSF
Do you mean it's only recording one of the 2 channels (left/right) for a stereo recording, or is the volume at half the usual level? I think the mic jack only records in mono. Have you tried using Line-In instead? What software are you using to record? Is there a volume slider for the input source?
