problems with my audiomax 7.1 on my Fatal1ty AN8 SLi

i have a Fatal1ty AN8 SLi board and a audiomax 7.1 hd sound card and i install all the drivers for it and it starts to run and evrything but when i try 2 play music or any kind of sound it dosent play any sound at all ive tried reinstalling it and it still does the same thing so i also tried putting a soundblaster in and it works find so i dont know can any1 help me plz

bumping this, I have the *EXACT* same problem on my AN8-SLi Fatal1ty motherboard. I've been trying to get my SLi setup to work (not enough resources), and I restarted my PC, and the sound just isn't working.

I've uninstalled the card, reinstalled the card, uninstalled the driver, reinstalled the driver. Device manager says that it's working fine, but my computer does not recognize it. I cannot play WMP, I cannot use Ventrilo, and I have no system sounds at all.
