Sound not working
I am having trouble with the sound on my computer. I recently deleted a bunch of games off of it to try and clear up some space. After deleting them, the sound on my computer stopped working. I can't think of anything that I may have deleted that would allow the sound to just go out like that.
I am running a Dell Dimension 4400 desktop computer with a Sound Blaster Live! Value sound card. When I run my Creative Diagnostics Agent, the test fails at the Wave Driver, Midi Driver, Mixer Driver DirectSound 3D Driver, and Mixer Settings Check. Even more peculiar, is that when I click "Begin Fix", I get an error stating "Your device is currently in use. Please close all your applications before running the diagnostics again." Any help in the matter would be most appreciated in this matter. |

Re: Sound not working
Use system restore to go back to before you deleted the files. Then use the uninstallers for the games rather than just deleting the folders.
