Hi folks, I just bought Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio.
I checked for the latest drivers. I messed around enough. My mic will lag when I speak into it, and now whenever I go into games, it's like my controls are too lagged to play. Like I can hit up and move up a tad, but if I hold it down, my character is stuck like that for a good 3 seconds. This happens ALWAYS, even when my software for the card is turned off. Here are my stats. Code:
> Mainboard : Asus A8N-E > Chipset : nVidia nForce4 > Processor : AMD Athlon 64 3500+ @ 2200 MHz > Physical Memory : 1536 MB (3 x 512 DDR-SDRAM ) > Video Card : ATI Technologies Inc Radeon X1600 Series Secondary > Hard Disk : HDS728080PLA380 (82 GB) > DVD-Rom Drive : IA0595R RQJ009N SCSI CdRom Device > DVD-Rom Drive : IA0595R RQJ009N SCSI CdRom Device > Monitor Type : LG Electronics L196WTQ - 19 inches > Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional 5.01.2600 Service Pack 2 > DirectX : Version 9.0c (March 2006) |

Re: Strangest sound card problem I've seen.
Erm, can't figure out how to edit my post... but I do believe it might be the fact I'm using a serial connection keyboard. I think I might need to now get a USB keyboard. Just saying, hopefully that's not it.

Re: Strangest sound card problem I've seen.
Turns out it was a newly-installed software, and I just never tested it with my old sound card. :P That was a busy day for me.
I should've said something, sorry. Forgot about this thread. |
