[SOLVED] Operating System error

Everytime I boot up my laptop, I get the following error message-

error loading cmcnfg2.cpl.....I think it may stem from when I downloaded the software that came with this crappy laptop speaker I got for free. It's called the C-Media Xear Sound Audio Driver.....I deinstalled it but I'm still getting the error message....any help you can offer to help get rid of the error message will be much appreciated......thanks
