sound cards

My speakers are hooked up correctly,and my security is 100% ok.

Also,everything else is hooked up correctly.

When I tried trouble shooting,for sound,I came accross a statement that said something about SOUND CARD.

Would this be why my speakers on my pc will not work???

I haven't made any changes or done anything,the speaker sound just stopped working. Yes,I had the speakers checked out on another pc,no problem.

PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU!

Hi, welcome to TSF

Check in Device Manager for any red or yellow flags indicating problems with any devices.

Have you installed the sound driver?

Do you get any error messages when trying to play sound?
