[SOLVED] Soundblaster Live! Series driver help 8)

i have recently reformatted my pc but after i did, i lost my audio.
for days i have scoured the net for sb live! drivers. i have managed to detect the type of sound card i have using the everest program. but it only says "creative sb live! series audio processor" and does not elaborate further.
i am aware of the different versions (live! 5.1, live! platinum etc.) as i have downloaded all of them to no avail.
is there a universal driver for all sound cards in the sb live! series that might work for me?
or perhaps a good sound card detecting program that might tell me the exact model of my sound card?

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance! 8)

Re: Soundblaster Live! Series driver help 8)

thanks for the response, i have managed to fix the problem. found out that my sound card was from a dissolved company under creative called ectiva and found no available support in the creative official sites. luckily i found a link to a japanese site which had the driver files for my card.
thanks again for the input. 8)
