CMedia AC97
I am using xp and c-media ac97 audio device is not working. when I check it out in hardware it says it cannot start and it is a code 10. When I check it out in safe mode it says it is working properly. When I check audio devices it says there is none. Does anyone understand this?

Has it ever worked or is this a new problem?
Have you made any hardware changes or installed any new multimedia software recently that may have caused your sound to disappear? Try reinstalling the AC97 sound driver from the motherboard CD.
