No audio device installed --->compaq presario--->vista basic
Hi,
I am using compaq Presario with windows vista basic OS. While trying to fig out how the microhope works i have accidently had done some which let to msg--------> no device is installed. what i did is Control Panel-->Sound----->Playback/recording----> two device were present then i fiddeled and now it shows----->no device is installed. Please help to start Microphone and audio output device. |

Hi, and welcome to TSF!
 First try a system restore. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...w_03may19.mspx Restore to a day before you accidentally uninstalled the driver which gave you that message. We will work on the microphone once that is fixed.
