Sound problem

whenever my hard drive is being accessed while i am playing sound in applicataion.. tht includes games... it starts to stutter and stuff untill the HD is done being accessed... i dont have a fragmented hard drive.. no IRQ conflicts.

i dont have a sound card... btw... i use Realtek 97 or sumn

my board is an ECS 741GX-M

Hi,
Make sure DMA is enabled for the hard drive.
