5.1 Surround sound.

I have an Xfi Xtreme music and I JUST received my 5.1 logitech X-540s and when i change my settings in my audio console to 5.1 and hit the test buttons only the front two work, what i mean is It has the five speakers and sub shown in a small diagram and I click the front left one and it says "front left" or "front right" for the front right and sound comes from all 5 speakers. But when i click the back ones or my center one I don't hear anything and I know I have the speakers set up right, also my sound card is a 7.1 card. I don't know if this is normal or what.

Okay, half solved. I found it was my "matrix" setting messing everythign up.
