S/Blaster Audigy 2 ZS 5.1 only using 3 speakers in Vista
Hi,
I have recently installed Vista Ultimate 64 bit and have finished downloading all latest drivers for my soundcard - Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS.. I have changed the settings to show it is 5.1 speaker system, however when I play any movies or music, only 3 of the speakers are used. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the remaining 2 speakers to be picked up? Hope thats enough to go on. Thanks. |

Re: S/Blaster Audigy 2 ZS 5.1 only using 3 speakers in Vista
Hey all, I have updated the Vista 64 bit drivers from Creative but am still having no luck.
My 5.1 setup has sound coming from the front 2, center and bass but nothing from either of the rear speakers.. I have changed all settings in windows etc to 5.1 but the rear speakers will just not work. I know the speakers themselves are ok as I plugged them into the front speaker slots and they worked fine in there. The drivers are all up to date with the latest available but I just cant get the back 2 speakers to make any noise... Any ideas? Thanks. |
