It was working perfectly fine last night and then this morning it would not let me listen to music etc. I have went through the whole troubleshooting process & it hasnt helped any.

What kind of audio are you using, is it onboard or have you a sound card installed ?
Like soundblaster etc ?

Hi Abby,

If this just happened, then a system restore will fix any driver/OS problems. Do a system restore to a day before this happened.
Start > (All) Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.
