Persistant Skipping
Hi,
I have an HP DV8000 laptop with a Conexant HD Audio card. I use Windows XP and listen to music on itunes while i'm browsing the internet and such. My problem is the audio annoyingly skips approximately 4-5 times every 30 seconds. It seems like it might be an isolated case with audio played through itunes but i can't be sure. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Check your CPU usage in task manager. Also get the latest drivers for your audio card from HP's web site.
