Help!!

My daughters are big into the IPOD craze. It seems that everytime they hook their IPOD up to my Gateway computer, I lose all my internet sound. I get the regular computer sounds (chimes, signing off, etc) but anytime I go into a site that requires sound (youtube, etc) I get pictures but no sound. I tried running IE 7 and it worked for awhile, but now that doesn't even help. Anyone got any suggestions??

Hi,

Download Firefox and see if it happens there. Also, try reinstalling the iTunes software. And does Windows Media Player not play sounds, or is it just web pages.

I downloaded firefox and it worked for awhile. For some reason, it has stopped working and downloading firefox again doesn't seem to help.

Then post a HijackThis log in the analysis forum. When you are cleared there as being free of malware, come back to this thread. I will know when you respond.
